The Carroll High School stadium project was designed both with and for the people of the Carroll community. The existing stadium, which hadn’t been touched in over 50 years, had become neglected and was badly in need of major renovations. Throughout the design and bonding process, frk worked hard to get the community involved and to show them what a modern stadium could do for their schools, town and wider community.

The 5.4 million dollar project included all new bleachers and press box, concessions, public restroom facilities, entry and ticketing gates, synthetic turf field, sports lighting, and perimeter fencing for community improvement. The design team was able to make efficient use of the limited space available between a public road and the school’s historic baseball park. It is also worth noting that the entire construction process was scheduled between the falls of 2017 and 2018, without any football games being interfered with.

The goal was to provide a community stadium that served both the Carroll Community School District and the Carroll Kemper Catholic High School.
