This housing complex was designed as part of the Green Meadow master plan that covers a large site at the intersection of 86th and 72nd in Johnston. Frevert-Ramsey-Kobes worked to integrate various components of the master plan, including the Crescent Chase housing complex and a commercial center with a Kum & Go convenience store.

Only the first phase of Crescent Chase, which includes 250 apartment units, has been built. The second phase, which includes another 250 units, will be developed in the future. The completed units offer attractive buildings and a variety of apartment layout options. They have been very popular and have filled quickly.
