Designing the the Religious Education Center for St. Patrick's Catholic Church presented a unique challenge because of the number of students and communities it serves. The education center was deisnged to function with, and relate to, the existing church but can also function independently as a before/after church education and meeting area.

The education center accomodates 200+ students from Hampton and surrounding communites of Alexander, Dows, Dumont, Laimter, and Sheffield for weekly religious education classes and study. It contains 12 classrooms that can be configured for small classes and study groups or expanded to accomodate larger groups by opening folding partitions located between adjoining classrooms.

The education center also contains a library/adult resource center, restrooms, and support facilities.
