The Central Community School District held a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their new Central High School Addition on Saturday, July 30th. The event was well attended by the community providing a first glimpse of the 137,500 SF addition to many students, parents and alumni. The addition includes a fine arts auditorium, athletic facilities including a new competition gymnasium, administration offices, and music facilities. Steven Zbylicki, who headed up the project for frk, attended the celebration. “Up until today, the public really has only viewed the building from the exterior, so it was nice to see all the positive reactions as they got their first looks at the new auditorium, gymnasiums and grand commons area. There were plenty of oohh’s and aahh’s!!,” commented Steve. frk is proud to have been a part of this exciting project and hope the new surroundings will encourage the highest level of student learning and development for many years to come!

On Friday, July 29, 2011, frk hosted our first ever Bring Your Kids to Work Day. Several employees brought their children in for a few hours of hands-on demonstrations and tours. It was a great opportunity to share with them where Dad or Mom are all day and what they do at work. A fun time was had by all and current plans are to make this an annual event! Thanks to our employee, Andrew Reich, for this excellent idea!
