This building was originally constructed as a grocery warehouse and was later placed on the Register of Historic Buildings. The structure is located in the historic Court Avenue district of downtown Des Moines. The goal of the renovation design was to convert the building to primarily offices while maintaining the character of the original structure of massive rough brick walls and large wood columns and beams. The brick walls were left intact and the wood structure was lightly sandblasted to restore the appearance of the timbers.

The design incorporated the elevators, stairs, and corridors in the least obtrusive way. The mechanical and electrical systems were designed to be revealed in a manner that integrated with the exposed wood framing. New wood windows restored the exterior appearance.

The completed building consists of seven levels at a total area of approximately 109,000 square feet. A restaurant is located on the lower level of the mixed use building.

The project also included the design of a courtyard and a three-tier parking garage for 129 cars. The exterior of the parking ramp incorporates the style of the 100 Court Avenue building with a brick and concrete repeating arch design.
